I’ve long been fascinated with seeds and seed pods, with their shapes and textures and sheer variety. Cold, dark winter days provide an ideal opportunity to explore indoors so in 2016 that was exactly what I did.
Having collected quite a lot of really interesting ones, I set about cataloging them as if part of a museum collection. Once I had a series of images I was happy with, to do something a little different, I created a limited edition Zine or printed mini magazine called Husk, on fine art paper, with all of the images included and sold it, from my studio and at exhibitions, art fairs and also on my website.
