A unique range of hand printed, fine art cards

Greeting cards are usually thrown away after the occasion for which they are sent - these cards have been designed as miniature fine art prints which can be framed, to last a lifetime. Sending one of these cards makes a statement about the sender and gives the recipient something they can keep and enjoy long after.

Each card features an original print of one of my images, produced individually on acid-free, archival quality, fine art card weighing 220gsm with a velina finish. Made from 100% cotton, the purest form of cellulose, using naturally occuring pure Artesian well water, this Museo paper is manufactured to archival standards by Crane and Co, American paper makers with a 200-year old tradition. Internally buffered (to prevent long term environmental acidification), and containing no optical brighteners (which are known to fade over time), Museo is an uncommonly beautiful paper with a touch and feel unlike any other. Quite simply, it is gorgeous.

The cards are slightly off-white in colour and are supplied with matching envelopes made to the same high standards and sealed in a cellophane bag. Currently available as 140×191mm in size when folded, although other sizes may be introduced or made to order. Each card has a small thumbnail image on the back together with details of where and when the image was taken and its title. The wildlife and flower ranges also include the scientific names and a brief history about the species. The inside of the card is left blank for your own message.

I have received some very positive feedback from everyone who has received one of these cards or who has seen them. Cuerden Winter Morning won a national greetings card competition. The range has been developed further and now includes a series of wild flowers, birds and British wildlife as well as some landscapes.
