	<title>Thistle Abstract</title>
	<link>http://abstractsofnature.com/pp/index.php?showimage=95</link>
	<description>
		&lt;img src=&quot;http://abstractsofnature.com/pp/images/thistle-leaves_mg_1460.jpg&quot;&gt;&lt;br/&gt;
		Often neglected and discarded, I find thistles to be interesting subjects due to the serrated edges of their leaves, prickly spines, thorny hooks and often soft, flowers.

		I really like Teasels, especially when they are reflecting the light - they seem to look so dramatic, graphic and not at all like the weeds many people dismiss them for. Finches like them too, when they go to seed. I have a number of teasels and thistles in my wildlife garden - they make great photographic subjects all through the year.
