Why a Photo Blog?I wish I had started photoblogging sooner - it is so much more fun than just having images on display in an online gallery or portfolio. Receiving feedback from visitors who have taken the time to stop and look and leave their comments, makes it all worthwhile, regardless of whether they like the images or not. That is how we learn, after all. The bonus is that by having one, you get to meet others with the same interests who have some of the most amazing photo blogs and who act as real inspiration. If I am feeling a bit down or fed up, or can't seem to get inspired or be creative, I just take a look at some of my favourites and I'm soon fired up and raring to get out and take some of my own pictures again. I haven't been doing this long but I will add more images on a regular basis - except that this won't be a 'photo every day' kind of blog, I will only post when I think I have something worthwhile posting . This photoblog provides the means to add images quickly and to show some that I perhaps wouldn't use on the site itself - I feel I have a bit more creative freedom here to show some of my more experimental images - those I probably couldn't send to one of the libraries for example, so I really appreciate any comments left. Please do tell me what you think and I hope you will come back. Thanks for visiting |
