After the extensive upgrade I did on this site about six months ago, I have just completed the job by upgrading to Wordpress 2.1 aka 'Ella'. It was fairly painless with just a few tweaks needed here and there, and should now be easier to maintain and keep current. The upgrade gave me an opportunity to do a lot of cleaning up of old content and out of date html pages which had been hanging around for a while. I had been running the two versions side by side, keeping the old html version in case anything broke, but careful monitoring of traffic (using Shaun Inman's excellent Mint statistics) shows that the transition is more or less complete so I have removed the old content, leaving links to updated versions.

My apologies if you find anything not working as it should or if you discover any broken pages - I appreciate feedback so please feel free to leave comments.

I now need to completely rebuild the Galleries, which are now rather out of date static html pages. This is not ideal as I really want something much more dynamic which I can update easily and therefore regularly but which I could also customise heavily to suit the design and layout of the site. After looking into, and trying out, several solutions, I am decided I am going to do this using Adobe's Lightroom, which I have been beta testing for some time, so hopefully, those should be online soon once I have configured them the way I want and integrated with the site as a whole.

I also want to improve upon and integrate properly, the facility for purchasing prints, cards and licenses. This feature will be gradually added over the next few month or so. In the meantime, please contact me if you experience any difficulty in placing an order or have any enquiries.
