I am delighted that this image has been selected the winner in the Professional A category at the very first Stefan Buczacki Photographic competition at the 2006 Southport Flower Show on 17th August.

I am really pleased as I love the colours in this image and find it really brightens a room. I shot it through a bed filled with these flowers and focused on just one whose petals reminded me of a dancers skirt swirling.
