Following the success of the past two years, Preston is once again playing host to the 3rd Inner City Living annual contemporary life styling exhibition. The concept for the Inner City Living exhibition is about collective promotion, encompassing the eclectic range of diverse talents from the region's creative industries, and working together to build and accessorise a temporary living space, at the heart of the City Centre. I am delighted to once again be a part of this event, with a display of framed images. The event is being held in the former Hills furniture store across from the market and this year all exhibits are, for the first time, available to purchase - an ideal place to look for unique Christmas presents.

Inner City Living 06 was officially opened, at a Preview Evening on Thursday 7th December, by designer Wayne Hemingway MBE who arrived hot on the heels of having just picked up his MBE at Buckingham Palace! Congratulations Wayne! The event is open daily from 10am til 6pm until Sunday December 17th when a special Fresh Christmas Market is being staged.

Fresh on the Market is Preston's new Contemporary Arts Market, featuring the work of many local artists, designers and creatives. The event on the 17th is the Christmas Market giving city shoppers the chance to pick up some unique, unusual and locally made Christmas cards and gifts.
